Trebanog Contracting is based in Kinnerton village, which is located in the UK just outside the small towns of Presteigne and Knighton, in the county of Powys which is a very rural county. Powys is also the largest county in Wales, and covers the areas of Radnorshire and Montgomeryshire, the majority of Brecknockshire and a small portion of Denbighshire.

Powys is bordered by the following: Gwynedd, Wrexham and Denbighshire to the north; Herefordshire and Shropshire to the east; Merthyr Tydfi, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Neath Port Talbot and Blaenau Gwent to the south; and Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion to the west.
